Competitive History - RtCW Movie
RTCW - Competitive History - QuakeCon 2003 - Made by Homie
Since March 2015, I have been collecting and archiving RTCW demos and shoutcasts of the oldschool competitive scene (2002-2007). I also have been recording and uploading these on my youtube channel over the last 4,5 years. My final goal was and is to make some sort of ultimate "RTCW Competitive History movie" for RTCW its 20th birthday. In 2016-2017 I was already working on some clips of various tournaments but I never got to actually finish anything.
The main issue I faced was that finding frags and recording in RTCW is very tedious and time consuming. I didn't want to continue until I found some way to speed up this process. In early 2018, with the help of Kimi, Crumbs and MAN-AT-ARMS, I managed to create one ultimate RTCW movie mod and a small Python module that can scan for frags in my entire demo archive at once. Kimi also modified the LibTech 3 code of Hannes that allows me to cut certain frags from demos, which saves me a huge amount of time to record. Without these people, this movie would have never seen the light of day.
I decided to invest my time on one tournament at a time, instead of creating the full history movie at once. QuakeCon 2003 was the first on my list. I started working on it from February 2018, taking a lot of breaks to avoid making something generic without any inspiration and taking the path of least resistance. I got hugely inspired by -Max- his work on the Ultraviolet Volume series. I wanted to do something similar like this for a very long time. This was the most challenging video project I ever did, and while it is not perfect, I'm very happy with the final output. I hope to create and release more videos of this series next year. I also want to thank MerlinatoR, bully, -Max-, Kris, Twister and superboyy for helping me with this project.

LofTbloxiN Movies 1+2
Beide Movies zeichen sich nicht nur durch 1 A+ Grafik aus, sondern auch durch einen guten Schnitt und schön gemachten Effekten. Was soll man dazu noch sagen, es sind einfach nur geile Videos bei den alles zusammen passt. Viel kann man wirklich dazu nicht sagen, aber eins fällt mir auf jedenfall noch ein: Wer es nicht downloaded ist selber Schuld und verpasst wohl eine der besten RtCW 1.0 Frag Videos.
Für alle die 1.0 nicht mehr kennen oder jemals kannten: 1.0 zeichnet sich durch eine kleine aber sehr feine Community aus die zusammenhält egal was kommt. Zudem noch der berüchtigte "Dropreload" bei den nach wieder aufheben der Waffe das Magazin wieder voll ist. (Kommt auf den Server an, manche Server Admins schalten dies aus)

UBIK RTCW MOVIE from the Anniversary Cup 2012-2013 by bloxzin - This was originally going to have a lot more effort put into it but moving overseas so had to finish asap.
This also messed up not being able to get brandon's demos (our teams only low pinger haha).
Sooo don't expect frags of week kind of stuff but instead sloppy delayed action that is border line clean enough. Footage v birdz, radd, stable and n0.
We are all from either aus or nz so not known around here but all enjoyed being involved in the cup, even though we were the only team not to get a stream I think!!!! haha. we that bad???? Also crossfire most committed team award haha!! we done like monday mornings 1-3am sometimes. Also played all matches on usa servers!! even when we had an aus server some teams bitched soo hard about the lag that we put up with normally....you know who you are.
Thanks to biggz our captain, always arranging times and doing work. And warwitch for bringing the game sooo much life back.

Moviemaker bloxiN, von dem wir erst vor kurzem zwei schöne Movies (LofTbloxiN Part 1 und 2) vorgestellt haben, hat heute sein drittes Movie veröffentlicht.
RtCW (und) Movie-Fans die den ersten und zweiten Teil kennen, werden auch vom dritten Teil nicht enttäuscht.
Das Movie Loftbloxin 3 kommt zwar ein wenig schlichter, aber sehr angenehm, daher. Gut ausgesuchte Frags und hohe Qualität runden das Movie zusätzlich ab. Viel Spass.
