Brinstar [Alpha 1] - GDF are planning to attack the last and biggest of the off-shore stroyent facilities discovered from intel captured during the liberation campaign in the UK.
Fresh intel however has also indicated that the strogg have one of their 'Mother Brains' located at the same facility which are responsible for devising tactics for the invasion force as the war rages on. The GDF now aim to kill two birds with one stone by elimating the last source of Stroyent in Europe and crippling the strogg invasion strategy with one single strike.

Wie bereits bekannt, wird die Map Valley in der Demo von Quake Wars enthalten sein. Diese wurde noch einmal überarbeitet und ermöglicht es nun den GDF schon vor Hacken des Shieldgenerators, den Contaminator-Respawn einzunehmen. Einen Überblick der Map und der zu erfüllenden Aufgaben findet ihr hier.
Zusätzlich zum Online Modus werden auch LAN-Spiele möglich sein und auch Bots für Offline-Partien werden enthalten sein. Die Bedienung der Fahrzeuge sowie das XP-System wurden ebenfalls überarbeitet.

Um die Demo spielen zu können, empfehlen die Entwickler folgende Hardware

3b0la released the Map Base (beta 1) from RTCW/W:ET for ET:QW - The map is retextured with new atmosphere and is upscaled on 10272*7968 (original 6848*6200). No bot support yet and need to fix locations.

Gamestar hat ein Video mit recht guter Qualität erschaffen.In dem 4,30 minütige Video geht es darum was die Bots Hauptsächlich in ET:QW machen, zudem werden verschiedene Klassen erklärt und gezeigt und einige Fahrzeuge. Das Video ist aus der Sicht der Menschen gemacht worden. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die erklärung der "3 Ego-Shooter-Gesetze"

ETQW Server Config Creator neu bei Infinity-Gamehosting.net
Mit dem Config Creator is es sehr einfach, ein Enemy Territory: Quake Wars Server Config zu erstellen. Man braucht nur die Felder auszufüllen. Bei jeder Option ist auch eine Beschreibung, damit ihr wisst, für was das gut sein soll. Wenn ihr die Textfelder nicht ausfüllen wollt, wird es als Default gespeichert.
Nachdem ihr die Config fertig habt, kommt eine Page mit der Beschreibung, wie man jetzt den Server Startet mit euren Settings.

Infinity-Gamehosting has just released a config file creator for Enemy Territory: Quake Wars.
With this config file creator setting up an Enemy Territory: Quake Wars server is very easy. You can customize your server with many options by just filling in the text fields. Along with every setting there's a brief description of its purpose. If you don't want to fill in all the textfields just click the button and a working (default) config file will be created for you.
Once you have created the config file you will be shown a page that explains how to start your server with your generated settings.

Ein neues hochauflösendes Enemy-Territory: QuakeWars TrailerMovie ist da! Das Movie wurde bei der Vorstellung der neuen nVidia Geforce8800 in San Jose aufgezeichnet.
