Congratulations! - 10 years Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory! Splash Damage's first game - Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory - was released exactly TEN YEARS ago.
Splash Damage's Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory was born on 29/05/2003. The game was originally planned as a buyable addon for Return to Castle Wolfenstein, but the singleplayer was not ready in time. Thus, the community one of the best free multiplayer first person shooter of all time received, which still has many active players from around the world.
Despite its age, the game Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is still in the top 10 of the most popular game downloads.
We wish all fanboys and newcomers continue to enjoy, with this "young at heart" teamplay shooter.

Am 29.05.2003 wurde Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory von Splash Damage geboren. Zuerst war das Spiel als kostenpflichtiges Addon zu Return to Castle Wolfenstein geplant, doch der Singleplayer wurde nicht rechtzeitig fertig. Dadurch hat die Community eines der Besten kostenlosen Multiplayer-Egoshooter aller Zeiten erhalten, welcher auch heute noch viele aktive Spieler aus aller Welt hat.
Trotz des hohen Alters, gehört das Spiel Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory immer noch zu den 10 beliebtesten Game-Downloads.
Wir wünschen allen Fanboys und Neulingen weiterhin viel Spass, mit diesem "jungebliebenen" Teamplay-Shooter.

The Bad Place4 Beta8
Originally, The Bad Place was DM4 from Quake1 - "One of the three id Software maps included in the "big five" for 1on1 play, created by American McGee" - the version most known to us all is the RtCW remake badplace3 used to create the ET multi_huntplace.
This modified version of The Bad Place is brought to you by MaTeJ, who has worked on maps such as tjwar_a1_fixed and crypt_final_fixed - his remake of the multi_huntplace map is a better, more complex version with some minor bug fixes and generally attempted to make the map more fun to play and tactical.
Check the readme.nfo inside the pk3 map file for more information. Recommended to use DAMN NFO Viewer

About the test:
We will start with the private Alpha Test within the next weeks and therefore we are looking for motivated testers. For our first alpha version we will only test the Windows version using Mozilla Firefox. Due to the number of applications we expect to get, you will only hear from us if you are chosen to be a tester.
To participate in the private alpha tests, we need some information from you. It’s important for us to get a feedback about the gameplay, bugs, glitches and your general impression about ETLive. With applying for alpha test, you become a member of the ETLive Tester Team. You are not allowed to publish bugs or use them for your advantage. You do not publish any security issues you might find. You will report them to the developers only.

Axis objective map - The war is almost lost for axis ,this will be one of the last tries to win the war. The axis will try to get access to the main base of the allied forces and try to free the zombies that helped the axis in the war against the allies.
Axis got the help of the Beast this time to get access to the base. If they make it to escort the beast to the gate ,then the beast will destroy it. Axis have to blow up two generators to free the zombies. Allies have to stop the beast en defend the generators.

* Trigger for the beast in front of the gate that prevents the door bug
* Axis last spawn changed for gameplay
* The beast get's cought in a prison
* zombies models and sound are gone when objective is done

Good news - TZAC stays online!

Thanks to a member who's been supporting TZAC for a long time, peaches, TZAC will stay online and it'll be free to use.
However, during next few months I will be working on ways to monetize TZAC while keeping it generally free to use. The plan is to introduce low-cost premium accounts which would give some additional features (but TZAC would function normally even if you don't pay), perhaps own clan/match system on the site including tournaments, etc.

UAC: A New Anticheat for ET
For the past few weeks, I have been trying to find a new anticheat for ET. TZAC did a good job for a while, but I think most of us can agree that it is time to move on.
You may have heard about the new AC being developed by TrackBase. While it does seem somewhat promising and I wish them the best of luck with it, we simply cannot afford to wait for a brand new anticheat to be made from scratch. I was forced to search for an already existing AC instead, one that would be ready in time for the Fall 2013 season.
I am pleased to announce that ET is now officially supported by Universal Anticheat!
Universal Anticheat (UAC) has been in development since 2006 by a coder named DExUS and currently supports Battlefield 3, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4, and several other games. It has already proven itself on ClanBase in CoD2, so I am confident that it will do good things for ET in the upcoming EC/OC season.
Before I continue, however, I must admit that this is only a temporary solution. DExUS recently announced that he will be shutting down UAC on the 1st of January due to lack of time and motivation. This is obviously very unfortunate, but it's not something I didn't already know about, and it won't stop us from taking advantage of what UAC has to offer ET for the next 3-4 months.
So, how does UAC work?
Like our previous anticheat, UAC is primarily intended to be used in official clan matches. It runs on a system which requires a Match ID to be entered every time it is used.
In ClanBase cup/ladder matches, the Match ID will be the WID at the end of the CB matchlink. (For example, in http://clanbase.ggl.com/warinfo.php?wid=1337, the match ID is 1337.) If you are playing an IRC war or other non-official match, the Match ID can be anything unique and mutually agreed upon.
Simply select Enemy Territory, enter a Match ID, and check the box next to Start scanning. Then, open ET and play the match as usual. You can minimize at any time to check which players are currently actively scanning in the same Match ID. UAC will scan your memory/files and take screenshots at random times throughout the match. After the match is over, you must uncheck the box next to Start scanning. The scan logs and screenshots will then be uploaded, and you are free to review them in the same UAC window.
If UAC happens to take a few screenshots with your personal information in them, you can immediately delete them while reviewing the screenshots in your UAC window.

WARNING: UAC scans your PC for cheats. This means that if you have any cheats at all on your PC, you risk getting banned, regardless of whether or not the cheats are ET-related and regardless of whether or not the cheats have been loaded. DExUS has expressed to me how serious he is about this, stating that he believes there is no reason for a clean player to have cheats on his PC. So, this is your one and only warning. Remove any and all cheats on your PC before using UAC.
Since the ClanBase website is currently down, I will wait to discuss in detail how UAC is going to work in ET on CB. We do plan to use it in the Fall 2013 season as well as in future ladder matches and will explain more when the time comes.
For now, simply create a UAC account if you haven't already, and try it out! You will be able to register your ID on ClanBase once the website is back online, then you'll be allowed to use UAC for official matches.

Activities event by Dark Alchemy
After last month we noticed that the players on our Server A1 are in better shape. Therefor we continue our sports event.
This month we have set up some activities to play - For example: Tennis, Golden Dunk, Chess, Poker.
All maps are dual objective. So no need to sit on the bench. We will see you on 24th of March at 20:00 CET on A2 (213.239.207.85:27961)
Nachdem wir im letzten Monat bemerkt haben, dass die Spieler auf unserem Server A1 besser in Form sind, setzen wir unsere sportliches Event (auf dem A2) fort.
Diesen Monat haben wir auf folgende Aktivitäten gesetzt - zum Beispiel: Tennis, Golden Dunk, Chess, Poker.
Es sind alles Dual-Objektiv-Maps. Also es besteht keine Notwendigkeit auf der Bank zu sitzen oder zu Campen. Wir sehen uns am 24. März um 20:00 Uhr MEZ auf dem Server A2 (213.239.207.85:27961)
