Congratulations! - 10 years Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory! Splash Damage's first game - Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory - was released exactly TEN YEARS ago.
Splash Damage's Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory was born on 29/05/2003. The game was originally planned as a buyable addon for Return to Castle Wolfenstein, but the singleplayer was not ready in time. Thus, the community one of the best free multiplayer first person shooter of all time received, which still has many active players from around the world.
Despite its age, the game Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is still in the top 10 of the most popular game downloads.
We wish all fanboys and newcomers continue to enjoy, with this "young at heart" teamplay shooter.

Zuerst war das Spiel als kostenpflichtiges Addon zu Return to Castle Wolfenstein geplant, doch der Singleplayer wurde nicht rechtzeitig fertig. Dark Alchemy - Panzer Knife Sniper Event

Blood flies through the air, fists are hitting faces and bats smacking tables. That's an impression how we decide what event is next. We couldn't agree: Mobius wanted knife people, To Nie Ja wanted to play the panzer and Wutang loves to snipe. Then suddenly there was a light and Old-Owl walked in. With his wise words he proposed to do all.
This sunday (25 August) at 20:00 cest we play a Panzer-Knife-Sniper event. 3 Maps each and then the winner will be called.
Make sure you close the windows, lock the door and have enough food to enjoy our slaughter event.

Die Prognosen standen auf Sieg für das ehemalige Team idle, jetzt bekannt als Team Dignitas. Die Prognosen trafen ein, ein weiterer Sieg in Folge, zeroPoint! war ohne butchji nicht einmal im Stande den Sieg zu schnuppern, leider. Es hat für sie nur für den zweiten Platz, nach der 0:4 Niederlage, gereicht. Bei der shgOpen Lan in Dänemark wird die Revange auf einer LAN folgen, doch wieder ohne Butchji.

Allies: The allies have to storm the bunker from where the axis are transmitting information to headquarters.
Axis: The Axis must defend the antenne controls to continue broadcasting.
Neutral: The allies have taken the town and besieged the bunker from where the axis transmit information to the staff.

- Updates ET memory defaults (i.e. hunkMegs, soundMegs, zoneMegs...etc)
- Punkbuster installer and updater
- Verifies ETkey in all versions of ET installed
- Locks ETkey as read-only to prevent service deletion
- Applies compatibility fixes for Windows 7 and Vista
- Fixes game crashes (for any of the reasons above)
- Added "run as admin" patch for Windows 8

A simple utility I created over a year ago to handle several tasks for noob players on my servers, particularly players using old 2.55 or having disconnect errors. About half our support tickets were addressed using this one tool.
I am no longer developing it, or supporting it, but figured I would share it with the public in case anyone has a use for it.
Use at own risk, and no this is not going to fix every disconnect issue.

- Ändert das Atribut des etkeys auf "nur-lesen" um überschreiben zu verhindern

- Spiel stürzt nicht mehr ab (für jeden der oben genannten Gründe)
- Hinzugefügter Patch für Windows 8 "als Administrator ausführen"

Axis attack an oilrig and they have to destroy 2 helicopters. Allied Forces have to prevent this.

Die Achsenmächte greifen eine Bohrinsel an und müssen 2 Hubschrauber zerstören. Die Alliierten müssen dies verhindern.
