Splash Damage's Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory was born on 29/05/2003. The game was originally planned as a buyable addon for Return to Castle Wolfenstein, but the singleplayer was not ready in time. Thus, the community one of the best free multiplayer first person shooter of all time received, which still has many active players from around the world.
Despite its age, the game Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is still in the top 10 of the most popular game downloads.

Zuerst war das Spiel als kostenpflichtiges Addon zu Return to Castle Wolfenstein geplant,  doch der Singleplayer wurde nicht rechtzeitig fertig. About the test:
We will start with the private Alpha Test within the next weeks and therefore we are looking for motivated testers. For our first alpha version we will only test the Windows version using Mozilla Firefox. Map ES Garden Sniper made by |ES|hardstyler and [UJE]Niek - 2 neighbors had a disagreement during a coffee and quickly became the big sniper battle in their garden. This Map is a no crossing version.

Map ES Garden Sniper, erstellt von |ES|hardstyler und [UJE]Niek - 2 Nachbarn hatten eine Meinungsverschiedenheit bei einem Kaffee, welche schnell zu einer Scharfschützen Schlacht in ihrem Garten ausartete. Es ist eine nicht überkreutzbare Map.

New Map |ES|Alamo Sniper made by |ES|LoRenz - If any of you know the real story about Alamo, I think you already guess, this must be a circular map. And, it is. I do not remember seen a circular sniper map before. This is a total new concept.
Allies are located in center of map, (Church of Alamo) surrounded by Axis on all sides. Axis have cannons on their side, wich can shot against Allies.. and you can partly shot down Allies building (Church of Alamo). But ofcource, you need to find the cannon, wich can fire. Good luck.

For both teams, repeated rifle fire will partly destroy buildings too. Axis side of map is of course bigger than allies side, becouse its a circular map. But |ES|LoRenz took care of that too. On each side of Axis side, you will find transporters, wich will move you to any side of the map.

The concept of circular snipermap is brand new. But I think, its no trouble after a few minutes, to find your way around map. Its not harder, than playing one of the old fashion ET maps.

Neue Map |ES|Alamo Sniper erstellt von |ES|LoRenz - Falls einer von euch die wahre Geschichte über Alamo kennt, weiß es bestimmt schon, das diese Map kreisförmig ist.
Dies ist eine völlig neues Konzept, einer kreisförmigen Scharfschützen Map. Die Alliierten sind in der Mitte der Karte (Church of Alamo) und von allen Seiten von Achsenmächten umgeben.

Das Konzept der kreisrunden Snipermap ist zwar neu, aber nach ein paar Minuten Einspielzeit findet man sich recht schnell auf der Map zurecht. Es ist nicht schwieriger, als das Spielen anderer ET-Maps.

[UJE] Oil b4 by [UJE] Niek - An Axis objective map. Oil oil oil ! The prices these days are too high that's why axis have to do something about it.
Axis attack an oilrig and they have to destroy 2 helicopters. Allied Forces have to prevent this.

[UJE] Oil b4 von [UJE] Niek - Achsenmächte Objektiv-Map . Öl Öl Öl ! Die Preise sind sehr hoch heutzutage und das ist der Grund, warum die Achsenmächte dagegen etwas unternehmen wollen.
Die Achsenmächte greifen eine Bohrinsel an und müssen 2 Hubschrauber zerstören. Die Alliierten müssen dies verhindern.

Lazio & Griim - Can´t Stop is made by Spankie which fragscenes of Lazio and Griim. The Movie convinced with nice frags in high X-real film quality and an excellent editing. A real eye-catcher!

Spankie: It's really hard to write something from the top of my head. Well, first of all, I'd really like to thank ag0n, samAel and drj3w for feedback and help with some things that I just couldn't figure out myself.
I wanted to go a little bit further with this one - bring some of the CoD/CSS editing atmosphere here. Did I succeed? I'll let you decide yourself.

Ich wollte dem Ganzen etwas mehr Atmosphäre geben und habe den Film ein kleines Bisschen wie CoD/CSS editiert. Hatte ich Erfolg? Entscheide dich selbst.
