Return to Castle Wolfenstein RealRtCW version 2.21
WolfETPlayer's "RealRtCW" modification for "Return to Castle Wolfenstein" is far more than just a basic improvement on the original game, it is, in fact, a total overhaul of everything. From textures to weapons, to the combat abilities of the A.I., it has all been very much improved. Having a quick read of the mod's features list only serves to emphasise that fact.

Hello everyone. HellBaron89 has released a new version of the Rtcw Venom Mod, version 4.8! I would like to thank HellBaron89 for his remarkable support towards Rtcw.
Based on Knghtmare patch 1.42d, includes:

The Dark Army: Uprising - Patch 1.1
This is a new patch from TITEUF85 for the English version of his superb Return to Castle Wolfenstein modification, "The Dark Army"
A new version (1.1) of The Dark Army: Uprising's English (US) edition was released as a Christmas gift to all fans of both the modification and the original game. If you already own the previous version of the mod, no need to worry, just click on the left button to download the patch to upgrade it.

RtCW Cooperative - Timegate
This is Yo$hik's release of the classic "Return to Castle Wolfenstein" singleplayer mission, "RtCW Timegate", that he's converted for "Return to Castle Wolfenstein Cooperative Mod". Fighting your way through this mission you'll come up against many familiar foes, but this time you're not alone. Here's what Yo$hik had to say about his new "RtCW Cooperative" adventure:
"You can play with the RtCW Coop autosave spawn option or with the flag zones, (recommended), spawn option. All trap-doors are removed, all moving platforms will return and they move in a loop. The cable-car and lifts have a delayed start time, this provides some extra time for players with different pings to connect to the server and not spawn in air :) . Cutscenes are rebuilt and now playable. I've added new, small areas, new secret places, models, music, etc. too. The locomotive now has a longer journey for more fun. I hope you all enjoy this new mission and have a lot of fun playing it. Cheers!" - Yo$hik

Return to Castle Wolfenstein Cooperative 1.01
I’m a bit late with the news, but rtcwcoop 1.0.1 is released, it fixes following bugs:
no more crashes when setting pmove_fixed 1
warmup can be disabled again
password protection works now when you create a server through the menu
you are now warned which pk3′s you are missing
now you see the name of the master server in the server menu, instead of ‘internet1′
KP_NUMLOCK can now be used as a key to bind to
some AI related crashes shouldn’t happen anymore

g_usepassword is removed and now only g_needpass works

How to install:
Unzip the downloaded file into your rtcw installation. Make sure that the ‘coopmain’ folder from the zip file is at the same level as the ‘main’ folder from your rtcw installation.
In case you only have the rtcw pk3′s but no existing installation, unzip the downloaded file and move your rtcw pk3′s inside the ‘main’ folder.

Description:
While waiting for the latest instalment of Wolfenstein, why not return to Return to Castle Wolfenstein with all new skins found only in the RtRtCW mod?
These uniforms are as historically accurate as possible according to Osprey Publishing's military history books amd feature units from the heer, kriegsmarine, luftwaffe police, Afrika Corps and SS. This mod also occasionally draws on NPC designs in Wolfenstein 3D to maintain the spirit of that groundbreaking game.
This skins are alterations of the original designs in Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
Mission 1: Ominous Rumors (Escape!, Castle Keep, Tram Ride)
Nazis changed to early '30s hybrid stormtroopers (inspired by brown Wolfenstein 3D guards) and Allgemeine SS under the command of
party group leaders. Village-based soldiers wear the more practical Waffen SS fatigues, and SS officer uniforms denote Ahnenerbe membership. Hans has been promoted from implausibly overweight SS soldier to local Gauleiter.
Mission 2: Dark Secret (Catacombs, Crypt, The Defiled Church, Tomb)
Carries over a weathered version of Soldiers' fatigues from previous level. Other soldiers' gear and Helga's blouse denotes Ahnenerbe membership. Zemph wears a more ominous leather coat.
Mission 3: Weapons of Vengeance (Forest Compound, Rocket Base, Radar Installation, Air Base Assault) Soldiers and officers patrolling the forest installation belong exclusively to regular army. Afrika Korps guard the rocket facility itself (for variety's sake -- maybe they've been assigned to guarding the biological compounds found in north Africa?). The Radar installation now under the control of the Reich Security Main Office so expect to see RSHA staff and Gestapo officers under the command of SS Oberfuhrers. Officers and soldiers of the Luftwaffe police (inspired by blue Wolfenstein 3D SS) now keep watch over the air base.
Mission 4: Deadly Designs (Kugelstadt, The Bombed Factory, The Trainyards, Secret Weapons Facility) The regular army patrols Kugelstadt backed up by SS paratroopers wearing Fallschirmjager camo. The submarine base is guarded by Kriegsmarine soldiers. Deathshead has a new coat.
Mission 5: Deathshead's Playground (Ice Station Norway, X-labs, Super Soldier) The only level to feature foreign SS units with "Den Norske Legion" patrolling inside and outside the Norwegian station. Scientists wear white lab coats.
Mission 6: Return Engagement (Bramburg Dam, Paderborn Village, Chateau Schufstaffel, Unhallowed Ground) Orpo squads and Deathshead's personal squad of SS paratroopers in Fallschirmjager camo block the way through the dam to Paderborn village. Be careful not to attract the attention the dreaded "Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler" in your mission to assassinate the Ahnenerbe Gruppenfuhrers, and dont forget to take out a high-value decoy on your way through (twin-gattling guns not supplied).
Mission 7: Operation Resurrection (The Dig, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Heinrich) Soldiers and officers wear Waffen-SS smocks at dig site. Inside the castle under seige, the Fallschirmjager under Deathshead's command look even worse for wear (oblivious to pain thanks to his experiments). Final cutscene has a more accurate rendering of Himmler, in this case wearing his summer tunic (inspired by white Wolfenstein 3D officers).
Other: As many NPCs as possible have had their faces rendered differently for the sake of variety.
INSTALLATION: Place the PK3 file "rtrtcw" in Return to Castle Wolfenstein's "Main" folder. To uninstall delete PK3 file "rtrtcw".

Born for be a compilation of the best stuff for Return to Castle Wolfenstein in first release, this mod improve graphic, gameplay and AI of enemies with all possibility of the old Id Tech 3, keeping the original game elements.
This is the latest release of the superb and very popular RtCW Venom Mod.
This new version includes:
Widescreen patch 1.42c by Knightmare.
QeffectsGL 1.2 (required directx 9.0 videocard).
HD skins, reflective leather uniforms and traslucent armors, HD helmets, some improved vehicles.
HD textures for all weapons by OSJC, TehSnake, AidenDemon, modified for shader support.
Enhanced shader effects for all weapons and environment (metal surfaces, armor, floors, etc).
New mg42 model (ported from Wolfenstein: ET).
Radical revision of AI for all levels.
Implemented detail textures on materials (required r_detailtextures 1).
Corrected some default shaders on characters, improved environment.
New HD effects, blood and muzzleflashes.
HD crosshairs and autoexec.cfg file for max graphic quality with better colors.
Upscaled original textures with shader effects and HD textures from Eugeny pack 0.4 and HD RTCW 0.2 by AidenDemon modified, now 65 % game textures replaced.
All effects made for original game engine Id Tech 3.
Full compatibility with other mods and iortcw.
Installation:
Copy all the content of the package like it's on your RTCW installation folder. The cfg. file is facoltative, but increase the graphic quality to max possible for the engine. (is necessary the game patched to 1.41 to apply the wide patch and extreme quality cfg file!!)

RtCW Coop 0.9.3
Return to Castle Wolfenstein Singleplayer CoOp 0.9.3 - The list looks small, but the amount of change code is huge. I hope this makes it more stable than before, have fun!
Download the files. Extract them somewhere (NOT in the rtcw folder). Copy the RTCW pk3's (mp, sp and pak0) into the rtcwcoop main folder and start the rtcwcoop executable.
New features:
- Total new client/server network code, its a straight port from rtcwmp which is proven to be a lot more stable than what we currently had
- Working pk3 autodownloading, thanks to the rtcwmp client server code
- Knife throwing (yay!)
- New sound code
- added a new alias for the mp_quickmessage cmd: voicechat
Fixes:
- 'attempts' in end level stats now shows the number of deaths of all players
- if no more lives left wait a few seconds before restarting the map
- new votesounds
- tomb and escape1 one have fixed mapscripts, bugs should be gone
- cvar security fixes, same for autodownload exploits
Return to Castle Wolfenstein Singleplayer CoOp 0.9.3 - Die Änderungsliste sieht zwar klein aus, aber das Ausmaß an Codeänderungen ist sehr groß. Ich hoffe, das macht es stabiler als zuvor. Viel Spaß!
Downloade die Dateien. Entpacke es irgendwo hin (NICHT in den RTCW Ordner). Kopiere deine RTCW-pk3´s (mp, sp und pak0) in den rtcwcoop Hauptordner und starte die rtcwcoop.exe

WolfETPlayer has now released the latest version of his superb rebuild of Return to Castle Wolfenstein singleplayer, RealRtCW 2.1. with 3 RtCW SP-addons on board too.
This new version of the mod is now running on the remarkable ioRTCW engine with included widescreen support, sound improvements, bug/crash fixes, and much more.
RealRtCW players who are using "vsync" can now utilise this hotfix, created by MAN-AT-ARMS.
The 3 Return to Castle Wolfenstein SP missions available for now are:
